These cast iron air bricks are based on the max flow and traditional "schoolboard" pattern.
They are supplied with a fitted gauze which acts as an insect screen and is
especially useful to prevent ingress of foreign objects into ducting and
ventilation systems, ie. cigarettes, matches, gum and litter etc.
The removable gauze can be cleaned and replaced as part of a planned maintenance
system and therefore should cut down accumulation of dirt and dust within
ventilation ducting when fitted on air inlets.

The gauze supplied is a phospher bronze, coarse, open weave mesh. It has 16
holes per linear inch which equates to an efficiency rating of around 66%.
We can replace this mesh to suit customers requirements - please contact us for
a quote with the specifications of the gauze preferred. |
