Important notice
Unfortunately, due to ill health, we are unable to offer an office service and cannot take phone calls. Writing out proformas and sending out goods on a next day delivery service are severely restricted. Please order via the website whenever possible. We are working weekends to ensure orders are dispatched with as little delay as possible but kindly allow up to 4 days delivery, on top of our normal service for all orders for the rest of 2023 and into 2024 .
UK Delivery (Zone 1)
We aim to dispatch and then deliver your cast air bricks and grilles as fast as possible. Please email for availability and stock check rather than telephone as we do not have anyone permanently in the office . If the website shows products available to buy then that means the castings are most likely in stock. They may need finishing before dispatch which may be immediate or could take a few days, especially painted or drilled items. All goods need to be paid for before dispatch so please add on time for us to receive and bank your payment if paying by cheque or bank transfer. A full list of our terms are available here.
If you are eligible for 0% vat rate or you are an EU Vat registered construction business, please email after you have made your purchase online if you qualify for a vat refund. We will refund by return, please ensure you email your company vat number if applicable.
Channel Islands purchases are vat free (no vat is automatically added to Jersey and Guernsey sales)

Shipping over £5000 is at £4001- £5000 rate plus an addition per £1000 order value as follows:-
+ £30 for zones 1, + £30 for zone 2, + £60 for zone 3 and + £75 for zone 4.
All customs charges or additional import duties are to be paid for by the customer if applicable. UK orders are sent out as soon as they are ready on a next working day service. Channel Islands, Eire, West and Mid Europe are sent out economy 2-3 day service. Far Europe, USA and ROI (rest of the world) are all sent out DPD, a 2-7 day air service. Some orders, especially for large or heavy grilles to far Europe, USA and ROW are likely to exceed the shipping prices quoted above and if this is the case we will inform the customer of any additional cost within 24 hours. The customer will then have the option to proceed with the order or cancel.
Refund Policy
The consumer has the right to cancel within seven days of receipt of the goods in line with the distance selling regulations.
This offer is extended to business customers for small orders under £1000. This refund policy doesn’t apply to cast iron goods that have been made to measure, cut to size, altered in any way, painted or drilled or flymesh mesh (all of which is cut to size). Please ask if in doubt, before ordering any of these items or large corporate orders.
For a refund, less delivery cost, please return the goods to “The Cast iron Air Brick Company, Bowhill Farm, Bradninch EX5 4LH” within 7 days of receipt. The customer should return the goods via a tracked courier at their own cost. Please note, for orders over £500 and for gratings sent via pallet delivery, a proportion of the delivery charge has already been included in the purchase price of the goods. Where this is the case, we reserve the right to deduct the full cost of the delivery from the refund .

All our products are available to buy here on the website by adding to your shopping cart and checking out with a credit card. If you would rather pay over the telephone or by cheque please complete this order form and email, fax or post it to us.
VAT
The Cast Iron Air Brick Company Ltd (cert no. 07463085) is a Vat registered company (104 1897 29)
and vat at 20% is added on goods and delivery for all orders to the EU and UK. Channel Islands and USA are exported at 0% vat, although customers are responsible for any import duty/state taxes if applicable.
