The drought is taking its toll and many of our newly planted trees are suffering in the top wood.
Thankfully, the “spares” we potted on in the spring are looking amazing so we will be replanting in the autumn once the rain has returned. The irrigation system for the nursery bed has indeed proved invaluable and helped keep our young native saplings alive during this baking hot month.
