10″ Daisy Floor and Wall Air Vent Grille

Daisy pattern, cast iron, drilled wall and floor vent grille painted black. Available from stock in single brick (10×4 inch) and double brick (10×7 inch).

These cast iron ventilation vent grilles are ideal for interiors especially fitted in wooden floors where they will easily take the weight of a person so are suitable to be walked on. They are also suitable installed within interiors on walls supplying room ventilation. They engage very well with the metric internal flanges of the cavity wall sleeves in the single metric air brick and double brick sizes items CAVHEXT3 and CAVHEXT6.

Customers may want the grilles to go rusty if this is required please order painted black finish and on the order make a note that you want them “UNFINISHED to go rusty”. (there is no difference in the price ).

Painted vents use two part epoxy black gloss top coat which is hard wearing but is just a decorative finish, like all painted cast iron products it will require repainting from time to time, especially if situated on an exposed wall. Repainting can be frequent if the grille is positioned in the sunlight, or chipped or exposed to salt air . The gloss paint will dull over time, in exposed conditions it is likely to dull to a satin sheen fairly quickly. Regardless of the paint finish the cast iron grille will last for many decades with or without painting.
